What is the Invest Campaign?
Invest is the Hume-Fogg PTO's annual giving campaign. It's a chance for parents, alumni, and the community to directly invest in Hume-Fogg's students and programs through monetary gifts. The money raised through the Invest campaign accounts for nearly 80% of the PTO's operating budget and this is the only time the PTO makes a monetary request each year.
If you wish to make a contribution, please donate online or request a paper donation form through your child's teach or our front office.
How much should I give?
No matter what size - your contribution matters! Every single donation - be it $1, $100 or $10,000 - helps provide our children with an unparalleled education that is both renowned and best in class. We know that every family's ability to give is different and we encourage you to make a donation that is meaningful to your family. So please give what you can. All donations to the Hume-Fogg PTO are tax deductible and confidential.
The suggested donation amount is $250 per family. We have two unique fundraising goals: $80,000 AND 100% parent participation. Both are vitally important to show wide support for our wonderful school.
Increase your gift with corporate matching!
Many companies have matching gift programs. It's estimated that $4-$7 billion in matching gifts go unclaimed each year. Together we can tap those dollars for Hume-Fogg - it could double your donation at no additional cost to you!
Typically, you can reach out to your Human Resources or Benefits departments to see if your company will match your gift. If they will, you will likely need to provide the following information to request the match: Recipient of donation including mailing address and phone number, Tax ID number, and the amount of your donation. To obtain that information, please email [email protected].

The Hume-Fogg PTO fields funding requests from the Hume-Fogg community twice each school year through a structured, transparent process. These gifts translate to grants for educators and staff, allowing them to bring additional value to their classroom learning experiences. - Adobe Creative Cloud subscription
- Software for World Language Lab
- Costumes, props and building supplies for theatre
- Creative writing journals and art supplies
- Games, workout equipment and CPR cards for Wellness class
- 8 wonderful blue easy chairs for hanging out in the library
- Class picnics and special occasion teacher treats and events
- National French contest
- Library Lunch and Learn snacks
